Mopheth Systems Corp. was incorporated in June 2015 on what felt like a sheer gut instinct. A few months later, when our founder, Dapo Bankole, unexpectedly lost his full-time job, he took it as life’s unmistakable signal—a call to step boldly into the future he had always dreamed of. Much like the turning point in the 1990 movie Joe Versus the Volcano, it was a moment to leap.
With uncertainty ahead but determination in his heart, Dapo returned to his first love: domain and web hosting, website design, and IT consulting for small businesses—skills he had flourished in while running a side business back in Nigeria. But his journey didn’t stop there. Fueled by a desire to empower others, he ventured into Business Analysis (BA) training, partnering with his BA mentor, Roxanne Miller, and later industry legend Karl Wiegers. Together, they helped mostly immigrant professionals pivot into rewarding careers in Business Analysis.
Building on his expertise, Dapo expanded into business process automation, becoming a certified partner with Flokzu, a leading BPM tool. Over time, he honed his craft as a respected Technical Delivery Manager, working with clients across Canada, the US, Asia, Dubai, and the UK—leading complex projects and delivering results.
By 2022, after years of consulting and a wealth of lessons learned, Dapo decided it was time to focus on building Mopheth’s own software products. Armed with deep experience in multiple industries, a background in business analysis, process automation, and software delivery, he was ready for this new chapter. Though the road was not without its challenges—false starts and hard-earned lessons—the team’s unwavering belief in the vision paid off. With their brilliant support, Mopheth’s flagship product, Mentorfy, was born.
